At the February 2018 meeting, members enjoyed a painting demonstration by Professor Clara DeGalan at Madonna University

Clara DeGalan was born and raised in Detroit Michigan.  She attended the Detroit High School for the Fine and Performing Arts, earned her BFA at the University of Michigan, and her MFA in Painting at Wayne State University.  She currently teaches drawing and painting at Wayne State University and Madonna University, and writes art criticism for Detroit Art Review and InfiniteMile Detroit.
