Bette Prudden

Many years of experience in painting portraits of children, adults, and pets enables Bette Prudden to capture the personality of her clients. With sensitivity and her sense of humor, she works with people and pets constantly, arriving at a likeness surpassing photography.

Bette's portraits are all over the USA, plus a few in Europe. She has won many prizes in national, regional, and local art shows and is a member of the Portrait Society of America, the Great Lakes Pastel Society, the Michigan Watercolor Society, and the Grosse Pointe Artists Association,The Detroit Society of Women Painters and Sculptors.

The Bette Prudden Art Studio in the City of Grosse Pointe is an exciting place to learn portrait painting, landscape, or still life in oil, watercolor or pastel. Her many students sometimes win prizes and go on to greater goals. The classes are on going and she offers workshops in oil, pastel, and watercolor.
