Ellen Kennary Doyle an artist from Michigan and Colorado.  After retiring early from a media career and raising three children,  she rediscovered her passion for art.  A friend convinced her to join a  painting workshop in suburban Detroit and she hasn't looked back.   For several years now, she has been creating vibrant, colorful and sometimes whimsical works in acrylic and oil.  Her inspiration is nature, and she paints semi abstract  scenes from the Great Lakes to the Rocky Mountains.  

Ellen's work has been in several juried shows in the midwest and sold in galleries in the Detroit area. Her hope is that her paintings are as comforting and joyful for people  to view as they are for her to create.
