Francine Guiducci Kachman studied painting and sculpture with John Sanden at the Art Students League (New York), Edgar Louis Yeager, Russell Keeter of the Center for Creative Studies (Detroit), Joseph Maniscalco, Janice Tremp, and Marie Larson. For over thirty years, she has been a member of the Scarab Club and the Lakeside Pallette Club, and she has served on the Board of Directors for each group, as well as for the Detroit Society of women Painters and Sculptors. She’s received over one hundred awards for her art, including first place from the Grosse Pointe Artists Association and from the Michigan State Fair, and she has been honored with one-woman shows at the Scarab Club and the Birmingham-Bloomfield Art Association.
