I am an artist involved in doing works in thematic series, employing pastel and oil pastel mediums. Trained in oil painting I am currently directing my passion toward drawing mediums in color, using dramatic value contrasts and kinetic color relationships. 

My current work centers around making statements using landscape, coastal scenes, portraiture and still life as subject matter, preferring to move frequently from subject to subject. The work is often allegorical, and is based on a devotion to realism, while developing the images through my loyalty to the elements and excitement of abstract art.
